Microlens Array by Photolithography and Etching Technology

Abstract:

In this presentation, the manufacturing of Microlens Arrays (MLA) and Diffractive Optical Elements (DOE using photolithography and reactive ion etching (RIE) technologies will be reviewed.

Bio:

Chun is currently the Chief Scientist at Focuslight Technologies, Inc. He has 30 years of groundbreaking work, reflected in 21 U.S. patents, 25 international patents, and 60 peer-reviewed publications at the forefront of photonics technology. His experience includes research and product development in fiber optics, fiber lasers, semiconductor lasers, and solid-state lasers as well as in broader photonics. He has been named one of The Photonics100 for 2025 by Electro-Optics, celebrating the remarkable achievements of 100 leading individuals driving innovation in photonics and optical technology worldwide
